Story
Ross was an exceptionally brave young man who was diagnosed with Acute Lyphoblastic Leukaemia at the age of 16 years in 2001. He battled for nearly 10 years with the disease and after deciding recently that further treatment was pointless, died quietly at home with his family on his 26th birthday (17th May 2011). In his final discussions with his consultant he asked what he could do to support research - even offering his body!
For the duration of his illness Ross was treated at St Bartholomew's Hospital and in his memory we would like to encourage as many people as possible to make donations to fund Leukaemia Research supported by Barts and The London Charity.
Donating through JustGiving is totally secure and 100% of your donation will go towards supporting this research at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
