Story

My Dad, Neil Stacey, sadly passed away on the 1st January 2020 after spending a short time in intensive care at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that people donate money to one of two charities Dad cared about - The Dystonia Society and Greenpeace.

The Dystonia Society provide support, advocacy and information for anyone affected by the neurological movement condition known as dystonia. Dad was diagnosed with the condition in July 1989 and the charity has given him a lot of support, as well as allowed him to support others with the condition.

To find out more about how Dystonia affected Dad's life, please watch the short film I made about him 9 years ago: https://vimeo.com/35794597

Thank you for your generosity  I know it would mean a lot to Dad that more people with this life altering condition can be supported in his memory.
