In memory of Peter Hibbert
This campaign will lay the foundations for human trials of a pioneering therapy for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The fatal disease affects the brain and nerves and causes weakness over time. There is currently no cure for the condition.

Story

Sadly on March 12th, Peter Hibbert beloved husband, father and grandfather unexpectedly passed away. Carol, Mike, Karen and the whole family are truly heartbroken by their loss with Pete being so very special and missed by all.

The funeral will be taking place on Thursday 31st March at 11:30am at Charnock Richard Crematorium, with a celebration of Pete's life at Kilhey Court, Standish. Many drinks will be raised so please feel free to join.

In lieu of flowers, if you would like to make a donation Carol, Mike and Karen have chosen two causes that are close to their hearts being Alzheimer’s Research and Motor Neurone Disease Research. You will find a page for each.

We would love it also if you would like to share a memory or story of Pete in your comments as we remember his warm and loving personality. For me personally, his amazing laugh and smile will be permanently fixed in my memory and how I was always so welcomed into the extended Hibbert family.
