Lara was an inspirational woman, partner to Jona, mother to Cala and Nancy.  She was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in October 2011, and passed away at the end of August 2012 after a year of suffering, which she bore with great dignity and open heartedness.  She was the most principled woman, much of her life dedicated to the wellbeing of the environment both ecologically and socially, and while she leaves a very small footprint on nature, she leaves a myriad of inspiring, beautiful and joyful memories for all who knew and respected her so much.

We, her friends and family, are fundraising for Tynedale Hospice at Home, who volunteered care so unintrusively and compassionately for the end of Lara's life.  Please give generously.
