Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit Karen's JustGiving page.

Karen Summerfield passed away peacefully in the arms of her husband, on the 17th December, 2021, having quickly deteriorated with aspiration pneumonia, a complication of her MS. Karen was much loved, and her passing has left many people heartbroken.

But as we remember Karen, as a caring and devoted mum, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, we can also learn from her determination and strength. Despite having MS, Karen continued to live a happy and fulfilled life. She was always smiling and had a wicked sense of humour.

One way in which we can remember Karen is to give back to a charity that provided fantastic support, treatment and cake (!) to Karen - the Chilterns MS Centre. The centre, based in Wendover, offers treatment, help and advice not only to people with MS, but also their carers and families. We would like to thank them for all they did for Karen. We are extremely grateful for any donations received.
