Story

James's 29th birthday is on 28th February 2020 and just like last year, we'll be marking this in the Kings Hill office. From Wednesday 26th February to Friday 28th, we'll be running a raffle, Bake Off and team sports activities, with everyone being encouraged to wear red on Friday.

A memorial fund was set up by James's family to help CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) to raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death, support those affected, support CRY's screening programme and fund research and pathology.

James was taken suddenly and tragically on 10th December 2018 - a seemingly fit and healthy 27-year-old. He was bright, funny, intelligent, with a social conscience and huge loyalty and love for family and friends. He was an incredibly private person who didn't suffer fools or follow the crowds, and always put the needs of others before his own.

James will be missed enormously by so many people, and has left a huge hole in our lives; but we hope that by supporting CRY, we will be able to support research into cardiac conditions which rob families of their loved ones, bringing such pain and grief. It would make James proud to know that he has helped to save others and further vital research into sudden cardiac arrest.

Please give generously in love and memory of James. Thank you.
