We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Thank you for visiting Rayhan’s JustGiving page.

We are fundraising for Brain Tumour Research in loving memory of our beautiful 4yr old son Rayhan Majid who died just 4 months after being diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a cruel and aggressive paediatric brain tumour.

Since we lost our ray of sunshine, it has come to light how underfunded and little understood the brain tumour arena is. We are campaigning for more research, better awareness, quicker diagnosis times, kinder and increased treatment availabilities, improved outcomes for patients and survivors and ultimately a cure for all those brain tumour types that don’t have one.

Brain tumours kill more people under 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Our beloved Rayhan was expected to battle brain cancer with armour that was outdated and inadequate from the outset.

Please donate and show your support and join our fight against brain tumours. Help us to address this inequality so no family finds themselves staring down the barrel of such a poor prognosis ever again.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💛
