Story
Many of GM&T were deeply saddened and shocked by the loss of our dear colleague and friend, Lorenzo, in December last year. Lorenzo lived a life of positivity, enthusiasm and friendliness which was hugely prevalent during his time at GM&T. He made many friends at GM&T, and as such, we want to celebrate his memory and achieve positive change by taking part in a memorial and charity event.
On 7th September, a team of Lorenzo’s colleagues at GM&T, along with his family, will be taking part in the Thames Path Challenge, being a 28km walk, in his honour and memory as an occasion to enjoy and share memories of our beloved Lorenzo. The walk will also be an opportunity for the team to raise funds for University College London Hospital, the hospital that cared for him in his hour of need. We have chosen this charity at the request of Lorenzo’s family, and we wholeheartedly support the cause. With your help, we hope the funds can go on to change the outcome and lives of other people who find themselves in need of the hospital’s support.
We would very much welcome anyone who would like to take part in the walk, or if you are able to donate to this very worthy cause, we would greatly appreciate any contributions.
For information on joining the walk, please speak to Jeff Taylor or Robin Smilkstein.
We hope to walk the full distance, sharing his smile and attitude as a team, and take part in an event that will create positive memories in Lorenzo’s honour.
Many thanks,
GM&T Team
