Story
I’m Michael Holmes, and in early June I will be cycling from Morecambe to Bridlington with a couple of friends. The route will be about 160 miles and quite hilly. To make it a bit more of a challenge we’ll do it in one day and I would like to be able to raise some funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
In 2006 when he was 23 my son, Danny Holmes, had a serious car accident and along with other emergency services Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene, but in this instance they were unable to help & Dan died. I still miss him every day, so does everyone who knew him. Many times each year the Air Ambulance saves someone’s life: we can’t get Danny back but helping this charity will stop some others losing somebody like him.
Yorkshire Air Ambulance relies on the generosity of individuals and organisations to help save lives across Yorkshire, and to keep both air ambulances in the air nearly £10000 per day is needed! Every bit of cash you donate, no matter how small, is a bit they wouldn’t have otherwise had, so I hope you can help
