My sister Michelle was taken from us far too early, and very abruptly, leaving an enormous hole in our family’s lives.

We think of her and everything she could have been every single day, and she will never be forgotten.

Little was known about my sister’s condition over 20 years ago when she fell ill, I am hopeful that increased awareness and the re-telling of her story will help others detect symptoms sooner.
