I have signed up to take part in the Palestine Half Marathon in March 2019 and to raise funds for poor Palestinian people living in refugee camps in the West Bank. During my time in Palestine, I will be joining Penny Appeal to help distribute food parcels in these refugee camps.

There are approximately 820,000 registered refugees living in the West Bank. 250,000 live in 19 refugee camps in West Bank and East Jerusalem. The cost of food is so high that already impoverished families have to spend half of their incomes on food. This means sacrificing their other urgent needs just to eat. Food packs cost £50 each and can supply one family enough food for a whole month!

Any donation you can make, no matter how small, will be appreciated greatly.
