Our Story:

On September 17th as we embark on a meaningful journey through Scotland's stunning landscapes in the Kilt Walk, the largest mass participation walking event in the country.

Over the years, this incredible event has brought together more than 120,000 generous souls, raising an awe-inspiring £37 million for 3,000 Scottish charities. And this year, we are determined to make a difference.

As we lace up our walking shoes and prepare for the 14.7-mile Big Stroll, let's unite our efforts to support a cause that is close to our hearts.

With each step we take, we aim to raise funds for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, a leading UK charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by this devastating disease.

Founded in 1990 by Professor Ray Donnelly, the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation has been at the forefront of lung cancer research, funding vital studies aimed at early detection and saving lives. Their dedication to supporting those diagnosed with lung cancer, through every stage of the journey from diagnosis to end-of-life care, is truly inspiring.

For one of our own, this cause holds an extremely personal significance. Mariusz, our dear colleague, tragically lost his beloved mother to lung cancer thirteen years ago when she was only 54 years old. Her untimely passing has left a lasting impact on Mariusz's life and serves as a reminder of the urgency to support others who find themselves in similar circumstances. Now, more than ever, we have the opportunity to honour his mother's memory and help those affected by this merciless disease.

Through our fundraising efforts, we aspire to make a tangible difference in the lives of those touched by lung cancer. By supporting Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, we contribute to their invaluable research, which seeks to detect the disease at its earliest stages and ultimately save lives. Additionally, the foundation provides extensive support to individuals and families throughout their lung cancer journey, ensuring that no one faces this battle alone.

But we can't do it alone. We need your support to make a truly meaningful impact. Whether you choose to donate, sponsor our team, or spread the word about our cause, every contribution counts. Together, we can create a ripple of hope and support that will uplift those struggling with lung cancer and their loved ones.

Help us turn the pain of loss into seeds of hope, paving the way for brighter, cancer-free futures.

Together, we can bring light into the lives of those affected by lung cancer and help them live well for as long as possible.

Donate today and join us on this incredible journey. Together, we can make a transformative impact on the lives of individuals and families battling this relentless disease. Let's walk, donate, and make a difference.
