Story
Sadly our dad, Reg Waite lost his life on the 23rd August 2016 after a short fight with cancer, aged just 60.
My Dad's cancer was so aggressive that he didn't have time for treatment, even if he had time, we would of had to endure long journeys to Oxford for treatment.
Having a Radiotherapy Department at the Great Wesrern hospital will help someone get the treatment they need without travelling to far, in some cases people are too ill to travel.
Reg's family would like to make this possible, so we are trying to help raise funds.
Reg wished for family flowers only, so any donations to the Brighter future's Radiotherapy Appeal would be greatly appreciated.
Dad's funeral will be taking place on Wednesday 7th September at 1:15pm at St.Swithin's Church in Compton Bassett. There will be a private cremation service but everyone is welcome after for refreshments and to celebrate dad's life at the Village Hall in Compton Bassett.
Donations are also being received on the day at the Village Hall and by Odette funeral directors, 7 Phelps Parade Calne Wiltshire SN11 0HA.
