The reason I am riding for Shooting Star Hospice is because they are a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They support families across Surrey and London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

I visited one of there hospices this year and it put it in perspective how much they do and the money they raise from donations to events, really go to help and supporting young people with life-limiting conditions.

After applying for the Ride 100, I finally got the opportunity this year to take part, and it seemed fitting I would ride for this wonderful charity. I hope the money I could raise will help this hospice in aiding and supporting the people affected with life-limiting conditions.

So if you would like to see me in pain, riding a bike and a bonus, wearing lycra ;), I would love you to donate whatever you can. Even its just £1 to £5, anything would be great in my quest to conquer the Reg 100, wait sorry... RIDE 100!
