Story
In our previous outing, the Reed Wheelers tackled the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland. After a year Hiatus, we will be undertaking a gruelling 263 mile cycle this September in an attempt to raise much needed funds for Shooting Star Chase.
Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
This year the cycle starts in Llandudno in North Wales and over the course of three days, weaves its way over the mighty peak of Snowden, takes in some sights along the along the coast, and then through the scenic (and big) hills of the Brecon Beacons before coming to land in Cardiff.
This year’s team is made up of the following:
Justin Berman, Alex Bowden, Clinton Erasmus, George Ince, Stuart Kelly, Neesam Mohoboob, Michael, Myburgh, Matt Need, David Todd, Jonathan Viz (support driver).
Any donations received will go a long way to ensuring the current level of care can be maintained. Currently only 10% of the funding needed is gained through government grants so they really do rely on supporters giving generously to keep the service running, so please donate if you are able to
