ST RICHARD'S HOSPICE TREK TO PETRA · 16 March 2024 to 23 March 2024 ·

Covering up to 10 miles a day over 5 consecutive days of walking. Besides the stony desert landscape, there are sections of narrow trail across rocky terrain including some easy scrambling.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our  Just Giving page.

St Richards hospice provides free specialist palliative care for people living with life limiting illness, alongside end of life care and family support. As a registered charity, 79% of their funding comes from charitable donations and fundraising activities such as our trek.

We have decided to undertake this challenge because everyone should do something that scares them every now and again.  This just seems like the right time to embrace our madness and rise to the experience. The Trek is from 16th March 2024, and we welcome every donation no matter how much.

Please look out for our fundraising activities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
