Fundraising for Save the Rhino International
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So I was lucky enough to be accepted into the London marathon after the 1st time of applying! After coming to terms with the reality of how far I’ll be running whilst tucking into a stuffed crust pizza, it only makes sense to me to run on behalf of the charity Save the Rhino.
The reason why I have chosen this charity is because of my strong interest and passion into investigating wildlife crime, in particularly the ivory trade. I spent the summer of 2016 in South Africa as part of my research for university. Since then, I have continued to assist the charity where I can and keep updated on the ongoing struggle to counter the ivory trade market.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated and encourage me to push myself through the ongoing training and achieving the best time I can possibly get. Save the Rhino are continuously working on the ground and often risking everything to prevent the poaching of rhino and seeing their cause first hand myself gives me even more determination to achieve my goal.
