Story
We love a challenge! That's why we've decided (well, Kayleigh has decided for us) to take on these tough group fitness challenges to help raise money for this amazing charity.
So, what are the challenges?!
1. Kettlebells (Mon 14th March & Wednesday 16th March) and 'Reppin' (Thurs 17th March) classes are taking part in a '10 tonne challenge!'
As a team, each class will aim to lift 10 tonnes in 4 separate exercises. Reps x weight used = total weight
Kettlebells:
10 tonne swing
10 tonne rack & press
10 tonne squat
10 tonne russian twist
Reppin:
10 tonne squat
10 tonne clean & press
10 tonne chest Press
10 tonne sit up
2. HIIT class (Tues 15th March) will be 'climbing Snowdon'! We will have 20 minutes as a team using aerobics steps to take the 4610 steps to the summit!
3. Group Cycling (Tues 15th March) Tour of Britain!
As a team, we will be attempting to combine our total distances and complete the 215km that makes up the Tour of Britain! Busy class? We'll split into 2 teams and do TWO Tours of Britain!
Depending on the numbers attending these classes, this could either be tough or REALLY tough!! So if you can, please show our amazing members support by donating...no matter how big or small, every donation helps and is hugely appreciated!

Red Nose Day is back on Friday 18 March, and we can’t wait to get involved in the fun. This year, we’re raising money as part of the Big Red Nose Day Get Together. We’re joining people up and down the UK to turn smiles into something incredible for those who need it most. However much you can spare, your donation will help tackle poverty, take action against violence and bring an end to discrimination – in the UK and across the world. We’re fundraising for Red Nose Day because...• £5 could pay to get 20 meals to vulnerable children and families in the UK• £10 could provide 20 reading books for children in community learning centres in Northern Uganda, where free pre-school services are very limited• £20 could provide a supportive coffee morning for families in the UK to share advice on caring for their child’s mental healthDon’t forget to tick the Gift Aid option, if you can, so Comic Relief can claim an extra 25% from the government. From us and everyone at Comic Relief, thank you. You’re wonderful.
