Story
This is RedNews fanzine's sixth annual charity events for Manchester Mind.
Each Christmas period we raise money for this important charity - it's more important than ever that we all take care of ourselves, and our minds. If you are able to talk, please do, you can contact Manchester Mind - or please see us when we sell for a little chat. Just take care of yourselves Reds, please.
Usually we sell in Santa hats for the final home game before Xmas and thought the World Cup might affect that, but thankfully the League Cup draw means we will NOW do this for Burnley at home.
but also - we've raised the ante!
The Editor will walk 30km in one go on December 10th.
Nik seller (and from the RedNews podcast) will run a half marathon that week.
Shane (from the podcast) will cycle 50k.
And more seller + podcast + contributor efforts to be confirmed!
Manchester Mind is an independent, local charity, which supports over 7,000 children, young people and adults each year. We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and we have a part to play in that. Our charity values the commitment of our staff and volunteers, who work hard to ensure services are delivered in a way that enables people to feel heard and involved. Donations and help from our fantastic supporters make a real difference, so thank you for being part of our success this year.
