Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My partner Bev and I will be cycling the 127 miles of the Leeds-Liverpool canal on 22nd and 23rd June and your support will be greatly appreciated through donation to help us during the bleak moments. I am raising money for Red Lion Group, a registered charity I am proud to Chair, and who do terrific work to support people who have a pelvic pouch in the UK. The organisation is driven by volunteers so every single penny you donate will go to this worthy cause.
Bev and I will set off from Albert Dock at 7am on 22nd and intend to finish around 6pm on Sunday 23rd at Leeds Basin. The 127 miles will be a little more tricky as we are cycling on Raleigh Choppers, which some of you might remember from the 1970s when these were iconic and fashionable means of transport for spoilt children (I didn't have one). These particular Mark III models have three gears that don't work, non existent brakes and a tendency to flip backwards if you pedal hard and will therefore be perfect for our adventure. Please give generously.
