I am privileged to work alongside the adult social care sector and therefore have experience of seeing and interacting with lots of people that have to cope with Dementia on a daily basis. Myself and a few colleagues have decide to try and complete the South Devon Trek event. Some of the Redcrier team have family that have suffered or are suffering through Dementia. As a small, but determined group we want to walk this very challenging route to raise money and awareness of the challenges that Dementia can present and the great work that the Alzheimers Society do for so many people. 

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
