Story

RED January 2020 - exercising every day to beat the winter blues and raise money for Solent Mind mental health services.

I hate exercise! Actually that’s not true. When I was younger I did every form of exercise going - gymnastics, dance , trampolining, Ice hockey, running, horse riding, shooting, swimming etc. Now I’d struggle to run to the end of the  road. Life and family take over and fitting in exercise especially in the winter months just seems too hard. However it’s my 50th year 😩 and I want to do something for myself, my mental health and for charity. Starting the year by committing to do some form of exercise everyday is my first step .... hopefully followed by many more. It’s going to be hard, my body will hurt and I’ll almost certainly get an injury (another reason I’ve not exercised in a while) so I would really appreciate your support.  Solent Mind do a fantastic job in my area providing advice and support to anyone with a mental health problem but they can’t do it without your donations.  Anything you can give would be much appreciated. Thank you, Jo xx
