We provide unconditional friendship, support and practical help to people in crisis and in need. We work with children, homeless people, all adult victims of modern slavery and those dealing with drug and/or alcohol addiction

Story

At times of crisis, it is vital that the key workers in our community -like NHS staff and carers - still have the ability to travel safely.

Rather than having to get on packed tubes or buses and risk infection from coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to play our part in helping them get to work without having to be in close contact with others.

To do this, we need your help to cover the costs of servicing or providing a bike to someone who doesn't have the privilege of staying at home at the moment - fighting coronavirus on the frontlines. Your donation will make this possible. Please give generously.

Recycles is a bike refurbishment social enterprise based at The Salvation Army in Ilford. Our professionally trained mechanics bring bikes back to life and train others how to do it in the process. As essential workers themselves, our mechanics are still working hard to make sure that the worlds most efficient mode of transport - the bicycle - is still available to get around for those essential trips. Please support the project by giving generously.
