INSPIRED BY SIR CAPTAIN TOM MOORE 
This morning (2.11.2020) started with a conversation about ‘what is lockdown?’ We decided that whilst we can still come to school, that makes us super happy! 
We read the story of Sir Captain Tom Moore and we were totally inspired by his actions. We wondered ‘what can we do to help?’ 
After lots of great fundraising ideas - we have decided to run a mile every day we are at school in November. With 25 of us in the class and 20 school days - this means we will run 500 miles between us by the end of the month!
We then discussed how some people are not as lucky as us and may not have their family around them at this time. 
The children have decided they want to help these people and so we have chosen Telford Mind as our charity to run for!

Our aim is to raise £105 (very precise, but when you’re 4/5 years old - that’s a very big number)!
