We decided to organise a Pancreatic Charity Ball in order to raise money for Pancreatic Reserch, to help keep our Mum's memory alive. We lost our Mum (Susan Ann Smith) on 8.02.12, last year, it has been quite a year of firsts. Our Mum was a wife, a mum and a nanny...and a daughter who is still sadly missed, taken by a terrible disease...and so little is known about this, there is no cure for it. As often patients are to poorly to under go any further treatement, as it's often in the latter stages when it is discovered and then nothing can be done... We miss our Mum so much and, in some ways each day is harder not easier....We hope to raise some money for this Charity and if we can help other people survive who want to live like our Mum then we want to help, some good has to come from her death...
