Event: Bath Half Marathon 2022, on 16 October 2022
The need for SARSAS services is as high now as they were at the peak of the pandemic. Waiting times are at an all time high and we desperately need more funds to help support the people who are waiting to be called in for support.

Story

From faking an asthma attack to get out of the 800m to running 13 miles without an inhaler (hopefully…)

On 16th October, I’m planning on running the Bath Half (w full-time legend Tess Stoop) in aid of Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support. This fantastic charity works with over 4000 people a year to help them navigate their experiences of sibling sexual abuse, exploitation of learning difficulties, random acts of abuse and much more. Appreciate any donation, no matter how big or small to help speed up the time people can access live chats, emails, art therapy, group sessions and other support.

In October 2019, while living 2000 miles away from home in Helsinki, a man touched me in a way no person ever deserves to be touched. I still can’t think or talk about that time too much - which means I am especially grateful for those who have the strength and skill to help others navigate their experiences.

Although in this fallen world we are not without hope, and He has helped me immensely. Running life’s race for Him 🙌🏼
