SUDEP Action are at the fore when it comes to researching ways that can bring about an end to Sudden Unexplained Deaths in Epilepsy. This is a matter close to my heart after losing my sister Rebecca in this way.

To support their latest campaign I am going to shave my head and lose the long locks I've sported for well over 20 years. In doing so my schoolboy nickname of Triangle Head will no longer be up for dispute either way!

SUDEP Action are currently running a campaign to raise £165,000 by march 2015, so that testing can be carried out on a WADD - Wireless Apnoea Detection Device. It that can alert a sufferer's housemates if a seizure causes them to stop breathing in their sleep, thus giving them the chance to administer emergency assistance if required.  For more info please visit
