I've written and rewritten my 'story' many times because I can't quite seem to find the words to describe how important this fundraising event is to me and my family.

To keep it simple, I am raising funds in memory of my very special Aunty June whose loss we feel everyday and for Allan's lovely mam Lynn, who was and still is a very big part of our lives. To have lost not one but two, strong, fun-loving, determined and fiercely independent women has been tough but it reminds us that life is short and we must spend it with the ones we love while we can.
