The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Save the UK's Charities General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

Rebecca lives in one of our homes in the North East and is taking on a 5,000 metre walk challenge. Walking 206m per day over a month in the garden, this will be a super challenge given her disabilities but will be great for Rebecca's Physical and mental wellbeing.

We are confident others who live at the service will join in on various days and we hope to be donning rainbow hats to spread a bit of hope and joy.
