Story
St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity and every year we support more than 9,000 people across Lincolnshire with a life limiting or terminal condition. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. We aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks or months they have left.We are reliant on the financial support our community provides so that we can be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.
I’m a mother to two little girls Ava (5) Mathilda (2) and married to my husband Christian. I live in lincoln with my family and work part time at Simpson’s Boutique Spa at Branston Hall, aswel as look after our two girls.
I’ve been lucky enough to have been selected to run the London marathon 2019 for St Barnabas hospice trust in Lincolnshire, a charity very close to my heart. My mum worked for the charity for a number of years as one of the many amazing nurses that cared for the various patients who required end of life and or palliative care.
A number of friends and family members have also been cared for by the charity, so I’m very excited to represent St Barnabas on their first ever entry into the London marathon as a charity.
Follow St Barnabas hospice Facebook page for an updates on how I’m getting on with my training, any and all donations will be greatly received.
Wish me luck!!🤞🏻
