We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

In March 2010 I was asked if I wanted to cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End and in April I bought my 1st road bike having never riden one before!  I like to set myself ridiculous challenges!!!  But now cycling is taking over my life as I prepare to cycle 929 miles in 10 days.

I've decided to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital as they do such amazing work for children with a multitude of problems and life threatening conditions.  On a more personal note 2 of my best friends had their first child Emily Kate in July.  She has a cleft lip and nurses from GOSH came out to their local hospital as soon as she was born in order to provide the specialist care that she needed.  Babies with cleft lip and palates often need multiple operations from 3 months to 12 years which can only be done at a specialist centre of which GOSH is one.  Emily's first operation is in October.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
