As many of you know, Barnet Hospital provided much of the treatment required to provide me with the best chance of living a long and healthy life. After a year and a half's treatment for breast cancer, things are going well for me. It was a long journey and I finally finished all of my treatment in November 2008. The time has come for me to give something back.

My aim is to provide enough money for Barnet Breast Unit at Barnet Hospital to purchase a piece of equipment which will help to speed up the diagnosis process for women (and the small number of men) who are diagnosed with this horrible illness. If this was you or one of your loved ones, you would want the best care possible in terms of a speedy diagnosis, followed by a speedy treatment plan and the start of treatment as quickly as possible.
