Story

This Autumn, I will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon and raising funds for OCD-UK.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, otherwise known as OCD, is a widely misunderstood mental health condition that affects everyone who struggles with it differently. It involves a constant stream of unwanted thoughts and compulsions that can be debilitating to live with. As some of you may know, I live with OCD, and want to prove to myself that I can overcome some of the mental roadblocks that come with it, as well as use the opportunity to educate others on the disorder. This is going to be a massive mental and physical challenge for me and will hugely push me out of my comfort zone, so any support will be so appreciated!

OCD-UK does vital work in educating on the subject and supporting those who live with the condition. This cause is so important and it would mean a lot to me if you could share this page, or if you are in a financial position to do so, donate whatever you can. If you would like to learn more about the disorder, please feel free to visit https://www.ocduk.org/ocd/introduction-to-ocd/. There is so much useful information on their website and it’s such a great resource for those who need it, or for those who would like to educate themselves to help understand others who suffer from OCD.

Thank you in advance for supporting my huge challenge and donating whatever you can, it will make a massive difference.

With all the love and appreciation in the world,

Becca xx
