On 11th September, I will be one of the crazy people abseiling Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth to raise money for the Checkatrade Foundation. 

The Spinnaker Tower stands at over 170 metres above Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent and is taller than the London Eye, Blackpool Tower and Big Ben! EEK!

As someone who is terrified of heights, this is a massive challenge for me so please donate whatever you can!
The Checkatrade Foundation does some fantastic work helping worthwhile causes and projects including;

- The Lighthouse Foundation - who rescues children from the sex slave industry in Nepal, and supports them with accomodation and education and love. 
- Global Compassion - a small yet ambitious humanitarian aid, disaster relief and development organisaiton that brings timely relief to those caught up in natural disasters
- Dreams Come True - who make the dreams of terminally ill children become a reality
- Tantara's Wish - who fund research into VHL, a rare and genetic syndrome
