Story

It's my birthday and I'm joining the Good Samaritan Family Resource Center to raise donations. Let's help hardworking families and children in San Francisco get ahead. Sadly, many families in the city cannot afford to send their child to a quality preschool, after-school, or summer program. Immigrant families are especially hit hard by the high cost of living in San Francisco. That's where Good Samaritan comes in. It offers immigrants and low-income families FREE or low-cost services so they create a better future, incl:- Classes, support groups, immigrant services, and programs designed for English Language Learners of all ages- Semester-long, bilingual parenting programs focused on healthy infant, child and adolescent development and school success- A preschool that accepts childcare subsidies - Youth programs with a low adult-to-student ratio that allow each child/teen to interact with a caring role model- Social-emotional supports for the entire family.

Getting to know the staff and administration of Good Sam has been so motivating because not only are they doing important work they are also terrific at what they do and keep making an impact on so many lives in the Mission and Bay View neighborhoods.

Thank you for your support and birthday wishes ;) !
