When I was little, I went through a rough period with my young mom, including some homelessness and food insecurity. Thankfully, I had a family network (including a young dad who bucked the 70s expectations and sought sole custody of me). My family and other guardian angels got me on the right track. I was lucky. Many kids, teens, and young parents don't have that kind of support. Many struggle with homelessness, a lack of safety, and trauma. That's where CHRIS180 comes in. CHRIS180 supports our community in myriad ways, including through adoptions, foster care, training, interventions with young parents in crisis, counseling, trauma-based training and therapy, life skills building, job searches and support, and many other ways to get people on the right track. I've gotten to see and
listen to the stories of numerous people whose lives were forever changed because of the work CHRIS180 does every day.
