Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

The Fire Fighters charity is an superb charity that has provided valuable help and resources to many of my colleagues, helping them to overcome both physical and mental injuries or illnesses. Ask any firefighter and they'll tell you how top notch these guys are!

Traditionally, every fire station in the country holds an annual Car Wash to help raise funds, but in these current circumstances everything has been cancelled and they're set to lose over £1 million.

So, given that all my races are also cancelled or postponed, I needed a new focus and decided I could kill two birds with one stone... so, on Friday 5th June at 10am, I will begin to run laps of Lymm Fire Station for 24 hours, or 100 miles - whichever comes first!

This is the first fundraiser I've done in many, many years, so please please help me to reach my target.

Thank you in advance!
