In memory of four wonderful viol-players whose company and music we enjoyed for so long; they all died of cancer over the last few years: Isabella, Marlene, Maria and Gill. We miss them on our viol-playing courses, but remember many fun times, laughing and making music with them.

Thinking also of my father, who died of cancer last year, and of various friends and family who have concerns about loved ones' health.
