Cancer affects many individuals within the UK. More than 1 in 3 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. This is an area that has and will affect us all in some way, including my own family and friends, and individuals that I have met within my life. 

Unfortunately, some of these individuals have not won their fight with cancer. But with the help of a wonderful charity like Cancer Research, who have over 4,000 scientists fighting cancer, there is a better chance of someone with the disease beating it.

These individuals' battles have inspired me to raise money for Cancer Research UK, so cancer can be beaten sooner.
