This is a first for me, I give to charity regularly but have never participated in an event to raise money for one, so please dig deep and support me for this very good cause.  Most of you know I am not the most athletic of people but 25k I will do - especially as there is a promise of alcohol at the end of the walk!!!! 

I am doing this walk as part of the 'Red Hot Chailey Steppers' from Aspects Beauty Company.  This year Aspects Beauty Company is celebrating it's 25 year anniversary. As part of the many anniversary activities that are happening throughout 2014, we felt it was important to make a difference to our local community too.  Therefore, we have decided to walk 25K to raise funds for the Chailey Heritage Foundation which is situated close to our head office in the village of Chailey, East Sussex.

Chailey Heritage Foundation is a pioneering centre of excellence for young people with complex physical disabilities and learning difficulties.  It encompasses Chailey Heritage school for 3 -25 year olds.  They rely on charitable donations each year to ensure that these young people get the support and opportunities they need and deserve. Helen and Lee from our offices were fortunate to visit Chailey Heritage recently and they have seen first-hand what a difference your generosity will make.  For example:

·         £2,500 buys an specially adapted wheelchair which allows a young person to take aided steps

·         £5,000 buys a piece of gym equipment which assists mobility and circulation for young people who are wheelchair bound
