Each year the Manchester University Music Society (MUMs) puts forward a selection of musicians to take their grade one exam.... but with a twist.

The musicians have just a couple of months to master a totally new instrument!!

This year I have decided to learn the clarinet under the supervision of my wonderful friend and soon to be house mate (provided we survive this teaching process) Sarah.

All proceeds donated are going to Oxfam!
