I am taking part in a 37 mile bike ride in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity on Friday 1st July 2016.

As most of you may know, I'm not an experienced cyclist (!), and have just started training at the gym for this event (and am currently still searching for a bike with a large padded saddle, I'll keep you posted on my progress..!).

Birmingham Children's Hospital is a fantastic resource for the whole country and we are blessed to have it located right here in Birmingham. Several of my friends have had their children cared for here and received fantastic support.

At Interserve Construction we are partnering with Birmingham Children's Hospital to deliver their Next Generation Legacy Building - to ensure that they have the right facilities to deliver state-of-the-art treatment and services going forward.  The new facility will include the UK's first pioneering Rare Diseases Centre for children, aswell as a cancer centre and three new operating theatres.

As part of this partnership we have committed to fundraising £25k for the charity over the next two years. And this is where you come in.....

I would be really grateful if you would sponsor me whatever you can for completing this ride. It will be a genuine challenge for me and will be so much easier if I know I'm raising lots of money for Birmingham Children's Hospital...
