Rebecca's and Gregg 60 hour paw cycle

Bec and gregg 100 paw cycle · 1 September 2020
My name is Rebecca Nicholson, i have cerebral palsy which means i am a full time Wheelchair user. Around two year's ago i received a life changing phone call to say that i had been matched with my amazing Canine partner Gregg.
Its fair to say that we truly are a match made in heaven. I never thought i would meet a dog that would get so excited about doing the laundry or still be happy to help after ive dropped my phone a million times a day. His adorable devotion to my needs makes my heart smile, especially when he trots through with what i need without being asked held delicately in his crinkely chops. We are like a comedy due and he has the ability to make me laugh until my sides hurt with his goffy antics but most of all he knows when i am sad.
Life has been a real challenge and very often i have felt a terrible sense of loneliness but he has brought the colour back into my life and as i concer the world with my best friend always by my side we celebrate the little victorys like being able to go to the shop to buy something without human assistance or solve a problem together and on those days filled with struggle, his little tail reminds me that we can survive even the darkness days.
Canine partners your amazing work has given me the most precious gift and i wanted to say thank you for making me feel alive again, i know that as a charity you do not receive government funding and this is just a drop in the ocean compared to the work that you all put in but i wanted to give something back that's when i asking my friends and family to support the most wonderful organisation and help another persons life to be transformed like mine, please if you can donate and share my story....
Much love Rebecca and Gregg xxx
