London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·
In October 2018 My mum was diagnosed with 53 Brain Tumours. Since then we have gone through three operations, many trips to the hospital and a&e and most recently the worst 12 months of our lives. Mum had to have an operation in October last year in the middle of a world pandemic that went catastrophically wrong, resulting in time spent in intensive care and then followed by 10 months in the Walton centre rehabilitation. All of this while there was two more lockdowns and no visitors allowed in hospitals. My mum suffered several strokes and is now severely disabled requiring 24 hour care. The brain tumour charity are under appreciated and under funded and therefore I’m running this marathon for them in hope one day they can find a cure and that some day someone doesn’t have to go through what we and everyone else who suffers with a brain tumour has had to experience.
Any donations are much appreciated.
Thank you!!!!!
