Story

In 2023 I'm running the Merthyr Half, the Newport Marathon, the Ridum Ultra and the Cardiff Half in aid of City Hospice. CH cared for two of the most talented and kind journalists I had the privilege of working with and this is a small way of saying thank you x

Did you know City Hospice is the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in the capital? Their services are provided free of charge, meaning the charity needs to raise more than £1.5 million each year to ensure they can keep sending their nurses out into the local community. City Hospice is at the heart of Cardiff, providing end of life care to patients in the local community. With your support, we can continue to provide specialist palliative care to people at home, offer welfare advice to those who need it, and counselling for loved ones.

Fancy joining our Cardiff Half Marathon team? With FREE spaces available you will get a snazzy running vest plus lots of support from the fundraising team, join #TeamHospice now.
