Story

We knew the training was going to be "bleeke", but Becky selected an "ally" in Ally (although he can't quite keep up for him to be a proper "ally"), and the journey began.

Our motivations for running in the London marathon vary; Becky has experience of supporting family running this great event, and wants some of the spotlight this year... Ally wants to lose some weight.

Having spectated over a number of years, Becky loves the atmosphere of the London marathon, with the streets lined with screaming fans geeing and willing you on...Ally needs to lose some weight.

The training has gone well (to average) to date, but there is more to be done - we remain committed, and the Original Hampton Court half marathon under our belt has given us some confidence.

We appreciate there are various events and great causes out there, but any support, genoristy, donations are very gratefully received.

The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse. That’s why we’re here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood.
