We are aiming to complete the 84 mile walk from Segedunum Roman Fort in Wallsend, Newcastle-upon-Tyne to Bowness on Solway over 7 days in September.

Our 'what are we thinking?' Team is made up of:

3 archaeologists - Beki, Mikey & Callum - who will be able to harp on about the sites and landscape as we tackle the trek.

1 scientist - Isabel - who will be able to advise on fuels and reactions to keep us warm and fed.

1 resource manager - Katie - who will keep us organised and on target.

We have reached our £500 fancy dress target!! We are definitely making fools of ourselves now! For one day, Tuesday 28th September, we will be dressing in fake Roman garb to walk the wall and visit some of the sites.
