Story
I'm attempting to run three half marathons in a year for Motor Neurone Disease Association in memory of my piano teacher and I would love every possible penny for it. Challenging myself to these races to raise as much money as I can is the least I can do to say thank you to one of the most wonderful men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
So, here I am; putting on the shoes and running like Forest Gump. I thought I'd run three half marathons in a year as a step up from the one I finished in 2011. The aim is 2 hours 10 mins for Liverpool (17th March) 2 hours 5 mins for Sheffield (12th May) and, fingers crossed, beating the 2 hour mark in The Great North Run (15th September).
I'll certainly be listening to music so if you'd like to suggest a song please do! The choice is yours and I promise I'll listen to it!
I'm very grateful for your support and will be thinking of every single donation to motivate me to the finish line of each race. I absolutely love the feeling of total freedom on a run, but quite frankly, all I really want is to do Gareth proud and raise lots of money.
Thank you,
Becky xxx
