Story
Some of you may not know this but every year i attend Glastonbury as a volunteer. Every morning I get up at 5am to pick up litter and make sure that everyone enjoys a clean Glastonbury.
As some of you well know I am not a morning person however I drag myself out of that tent each morning to make sure that I am supporting the amazing charity Kiota. (See info below)
As Glastonbury is cancelled for the 2nd time, and is their biggest fundraise for the charity, it is hitting the them very hard. The charity is amazing and knowing that the girls in Tanzania are suffering more so has got me thinking... I need to do something!! So I'm putting on my 10 year old running shoes and I'm running! My aim is to run 100k in July and any money you can give will be much appreciated. DISCLAIMER - I can't really run....
So please dig deep and keep this charity doing their best for the women and children of Tanzania!
Kiota is a kitchen table UK charity, working with KIWOHEDE, a Tanzanian organisation working for the rights, health and development of women and children in Tanzania. We are currently supporting the education of 120 students at the KIWOHEDE Open School. As well as providing secondary education, the school aims to prevent early marriage, unwanted pregnancy, child prostitution, dangerous child labour and gang involvement, and targets those most at risk of abuse and hazardous labour. Your support will help our students choose their own futures.
