Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
During the summer of 2013 I will be joining 5 other people and we will be taking it in turns to swim the 22 miles across the English Channel without a wetsuit!
Why?
Because I am raising money for Aspire, the charity that helps take someone who sustains a spinal cord injury from injury to independence.
Every eight hours someone sustains such an injury and is told they may never walk again. There is no warning, no preventative medicine, no time to prepare. Spinal cord injuries can happen to anyone at anytime.

Spinal Cord Injury has a devastating effect on the 1,200 people who become paralysed each year. Historically, the majority of spinal cord injuries have been sustained by those aged 15 to 40. Aspire focuses on the individual and aims to give the right support at the right time, from injury to independence.
Fund raising is not my forte but I would be thrilled if I could raise £2000 for this amazing charity.
If you could help me achieve my goal I would be really grateful.
